Abstract

Treatment methods are constantly developing and changing in parallel with technological advances. While new treatment methods increase service quality and effectiveness, digital health applications have led to a cultural transformation in the patient-doctor relationship. The adoption and use of digital technologies has increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, digital health technologies are costly practices, and there is a risk of causing inequalities that may arise from income and geographical differences. The study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of scientific studies on digital health technologies. By scanning the WoS database, 276 results were reached, and there was a vast increase in the number of studies accomplished during and after the pandemic. The keywords frequently used by the authors are digital health technology, e-health, m-health, and telemedicine.
