Açık ve Uzaktan Öğrenme Sistemlerinde Yapay Zekânın Öğrenen Destek Hizmeti Bağlamında Kullanımı

Açık ve uzaktan öğrenme (AUÖ) ortamlarında öğrenme sürecinin verimli bir şekilde yürütülmesi için sistemin öğrenen ihtiyaçlarına yönelik destek hizmetlerini sağlaması beklenir. Yapay zekâ teknolojileri ve eğitim alanındaki uygulamaları sayesinde AUÖ ortamlarında öğrenenlerin destek hizmetlerine yönelik ihtiyaçlarının daha etkili ve sürdürülebilir şekilde karşılanması mümkündür. Bu doğrultuda bu çalışmanın amacı, AUÖ ortamlarında yapay zekâ teknolojisinin öğrenen destek hizmetleri kapsamında nasıl kullanılabileceğini incelemektir. Bu amaca yönelik olarak çalışmada destek hizmetleri; akademik destek, idari destek, danışmanlık desteği, teknik destek ve kütüphane desteği olmak üzere beş başlık altında ele alınmıştır. Araştırmada geleneksel alanyazın taraması tercih edilmiş ve var olan çalışmalar ve uygulamalar incelenerek destek hizmetleri bağlamında bütüncül bir bakış açısı sunulmuştur. Öğrenme süreciyle ve öğrenenin öğrenme deneyimiyle doğrudan ilişkilendiren akademik destek, yapay zekâ teknolojileri ve sağladığı olanaklar kapsamında oldukça önemli bir paya sahiptir. Bununla birlikte AUÖ’de öğrenenlerin kitlesel olması ve öğrenenlerin bireysel beklenti ve ihtiyaçlarında görülen çeşitlilik öğrenme sürecinde kişiye özel ve zamanında geribildirim alınmasını zorlaştırmış, dolayısıyla yapay zekanın AUÖ’de akademik destek hizmetlerinin yanında diğer destek hizmetlerinde kullanımını gerekli kılmıştır. Araştırmada, gelecek çalışmalar için uygulamaya yönelik çalışmaların yapılması, destek hizmetlerinin her bir destek türünde ayrıntılı incelenmesi, teknoloji entegrasyonu bağlamında kurumsal çerçevelerin oluşturulması önerilmektedir.
