Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word file format.
  • The text is 1.15 spaced, written in 11 points and all figures, pictures and tables are placed on a separate page at the end of the references.
  • The article has been prepared by taking into account the "Writing Rules" and "Menuscript Template".

Author Guidelines

  • The articles requested to be published in the journal must be original texts that have not been published anywhere before.
    Articles should include Turkish and English abstracts.
    The first page of the articles should be reserved for the title, author's name, abstract and keywords.
    The names of the author or authors should be given just below the article title, justified, and the title, institution and contact information should be stated in the form of a star footnote (*), 10 font size, single line spacing.
    The text of the paper, footnotes and bibliography should be written in accordance with APA 7 standards.
    The "Writing Guide" of the Turkish Language Institution should be taken as the basis for the writing of the articles.
    Articles should be prepared using the template on our site. In this template word page structure, font size, fonts etc. is ready. Authors should prepare/adapt and submit their articles according to this template.

Manuscripts submitted for evaluation for publication to the "Journal of Digital Technologies and Education" must not have been previously published in any medium or sent for publication to any broadcast medium. The author(s) who submit an article to the "Journal of Digital Technologies and Education" are deemed to have accepted the copyright notice text.

Apart from the above issues, the following rights of the author/authors are also reserved:

  1. Patent rights other than copyright belong to the authors.
  2. Authors can use the entire article in their books and lectures, oral presentations and conferences.
  3. They have reproduction rights for their own activities not for sale.
